For September 2011: We have a suggestion from Doris Ray:

Hi Scribblers, I've decided to throw an idea at you for our September project. Yesterday I began playing a game using my brand new deck of Virtues cards (52 cards - each one featuring a quality worth striving for.) I picked (at random) a card featuring "generosity" which oddly enough fit right in with something I'd been wanting to do but hadn't gotten round to it. Today my card was "responsibility" which was tougher... think I'll attempt a poem or story with that one in mind. I have trouble with responsibility-invariably cover my butt with a "but.."

This email carries on in that same vein - I'm sure the qualities of "wisdom" and "patience" are somewhere in the Virtues deck.

Perhaps we can pick some quality in life and write a few lines, paragraphs or lyrics featuring that particular quality (or virtue)

Just to make it more interesting, it doesn't have to be a good quality- what are the seven deadly sins? Gluttony, etc etc (How come only 7 bad ones and 52 good ones? There's HOPE for the world!)

Happy writing! Doris
