We are fortunate to live in the beautiful Lakes District area in central British Columbia. We call Francois Lake home these days having retired here in 1992. The view from our home is spectacular!! We overlook the second longest natural lake in British Columbia with its clear cold waters. Fishing is minutes away. During winter months we experience fantastic sunrises and sunsets. From our location we see no signs of civilization, just rolling hills covered by a variety of trees. In the distance we can see the snow-capped peaks of Mount Tweedsmuir and Mount Wells in Tweedsmuir Park, BC's second largest Provincial Park. Click here to experience the view from our front deck.
